Life can sometimes feel as if it is filled with constant challenges, and that can sometimes leave us with feelings of anxiety.

Anxiety can make it’s presence felt in various forms, ranging from generalized feelings of worry that seem to permeate the day, to specific anxieties, perhaps because we find ourselves worrying about how things might turn out later in the day, week, month or year. Sometimes anxiety can lead to feelings of panic attacks too. We sometimes feel that we understand our triggers and patterns of anxiety and sometimes we might feel we have no idea what sets off these horrible anxious thoughts.

What if I was to tell you that understanding the cause of anxiety often isn’t actually required to help rebalance ourselves, to feel more like the best version of us?

I use a solution focused approach in my therapy practice. This is an evidenced based method of helping us walk towards the future we want rather than the future that worries us. It is a proactive and empowering approach to managing anxiety and my clients often comment on how much they enjoy the sessions. In our sessions together we will collaborate on what works best for you and how you might achieve that. We will look at small, achievable steps you feel ready to take towards your goal of feeling calm, confident and in control. We will also look at what tools might be useful to you and then we move on to the hypnosis part. Hypnosis is similar to the daydream state, it is a state of deep relaxation that enables you to access the parts of your mind that know what is best for you.

Maybe you feel that solution-focused hypnotherapy might be your key to unlocking a brighter, calmer future? Please do get in touch. I am a fully qualified, experienced hypnotherapist and a member of CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).

I am always happy to answer any questions you may have that will help you decide if you would like an appointment with me.
